COKO former member of SWV (Sisters With Voices) has released her first gospel album, entitled “Grateful“. COKO’s version of “Endow Me” recorded first by the Clark Sisters, is truly a blessing. COKO also has featuring on this track Fantasia Barrino, Lil Mo and Faith Evans. These ladies went back to their gospel roots and performed like true gospel artist. We pray that COKO and the ladies continue on there journey back home, where they belong.
Gospel Music Bites recommend you add this album to your gospel CD’s, you will not be disappointed.

It seems to be a common theme with R&B artists ‘crossing over’ to Gospel, rather than the other way. Other examples include Dave Hollister and Kelly Price.
Not that I’m against it, but do you think it’s a sign of the commercialisation of Gospel music?
