CECE WINANS KEEPING BUSY: Gospel singer performs at Memorial Day concert and maked guest appearance on The Paula White Show. These days, singer-songwriter CeCe Winans is dividing her time between performing, recording and gearing up for her annual girl’s conference and making a few television appearances.

(May 16th) CeCe Winans appeared on The Paula White Show and on Sunday, May 27th, she heads to Washington, DC to pay tribute to the U.S. Troops, where CeCe will perform at the National Memorial Day Concert on the West Lawn of the Capitol.

The celebration will air live on PBS at 8:00p.m. (ET). Other guests include Natalie Cole, General Colin Powell, Bonnie Hunt, Jimmy Smits, Charles Durning, Josh Turner, Dianne Wiest, Maestro Erich Kunzel and the National Symphony Orchestra. Gary Sinise (CSI: New York) along with Tony award-winner Joe Mantegna will host this year’s event.

On July 17th Winans shifts into role of author with the release of her 3rd book, Always Sisters, just in time for her 3rd Annual Always Sisters Girls Conference. The book focuses on bringing hope and help to forgotten and abused girls as well as those who appear to have it all together. Always Sisters reminds young women that they are loved and cherished by the most important Father of all. CeCe Winans covers topics pertinent to young girls such as image and self-esteem, behavior, dating and sexuality, prayer life and much more.

The 3rd Annual Always Sisters Girls Conference takes place at The Curb Center at Belmont University in Nashville, TN.
