American Idol’s Nadia Turner has released her latest DVD “Lord Help Us“. This DVD is a funny, inspirational movie that follows the lives of two best friends, Kayla and Jewels, who help a recently widowed pastor battle church rumors that he’s eloping with a woman nearly 35 years his junior. The film is currently available online and in stores everywhere.

The cast includes newcomer Bill Toliver, Nadia Turner (American Idol), Joe Clair (comedian), Margaret Avery (The Color Purple) and Debra Wilson (MadTV). Al Jarreau, Omar Gooding and others make special appearances.

“Lord Help Us” was directed by actor Shavar Ross, who is best known for his role as Dudley, Gary Coleman’s best friend on “Different Strokes.” Ross, 34, has also appeared on “Magnum P.I.,” “What’s Love Got to Do With It,” and “Fresh Prince of Bel Air” among others.
