J MOSS’s DAD WILLIAM BILL MOSS HAS PASSED AWAY: This is a Sad Day for Gospel Music

J Moss’s dad the legendary William Bill Moss, brother of the late Dr Mattie Moss Clark and uncle to The Clark Sisters, passed away on the 25th June 2007. William Bill Moss was born on May 22nd 1931.

As a pioneer in the gospel community, William Moss was a legend in his own right, as a gospel recording artist, label owner, producer, and songwriter. He was very instrumental in my career, as in the careers of others. His spirit and legacy will continue to live on.

This industry remembers “Dad” William Bill Moss for his contribution to gospel music. But I remember him, also, as being a wonderful husband to my mother, a great example of fatherhood to me and my siblings, and an excellent leader, role model and friend.
