Since the 2004 debut and self-titled release of 7 Sons of Soul, the group led by Cliff Jones has established themselves as one of the preeminent quartet groups in gospel music today. They were the recipients of the 2006 Stellar Award for Best Quartet Group, and their fellow nominees were the veteran icons the Canton Spirituals, Lee Williams & the Spiritual QC’s, and the Christianaires.

On the sophomore release “Witness“, 7 Sons of Soul has decided to shake up their sound by fusing today’s urban contemporary with the traditional quartet gospel sound that they are known for. The mission statement for this project is, “Live your life with love and integrity, help your brother, love your wife, spread the word and help change the world.”

Standout tracks on 7 Sons Of Soul latest release “Witness” include the inspirational single “I’ll Be Praying 4 You,” plus “Clap Your Hands,” the reggae-infused “Can’t Nobody,” as well as the thought-provoking “He Can Change Your Day.”
