DONALD YOUNG A CHICAGO CHOIR DIRECTOR MURDERED:

Two days before Christmas, Donald Young, the popular choir director at Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago, was discovered murdered in his apartment. He had been shot multiple times, including a shot in the head.
Donald Young, 47, conducted choir for more than two decades at the well-known church. He also taught fourth grade at a Chicago public school.
On Saturday, December 29, more than 2,500 people attended Donald Young’s standing-room-only funeral service, according to the Chicago Sun-Times. Some mourners waited outside for over 20 minutes to say goodbye.
Senator Barack Obama, who attends the church, sent a letter of condolence. The letter, along were many others, was read during the service, according to the paper.
Authorities told The Chicago Sun-Times that Christmas presents and jewelry were missing from Young’s home.
No arrest has been made in the case. A police investigation is underway and a $1,000 reward is being offered for info leading to an arrest.
Donald Young had grown the choir’s membership to more than 100 members. They all attended his funeral-singing one last time for their leader.

Isaiah 40. Take heart my dear family. The labours of Donald cannot go unrewarded and the killers undiscovered/sentenced. I’m very sure that we will all sing along Young in the largest mass choir up above. I love him and prmoise to keep the gospel music flag up after him. Believing he hears me, “Thanks for blazing a gospel music trail for us”
i find it sad the reward offered for information leading to an arrest is a mere $1,000. am i out of touch? has the amount been increased?
Donald was the beloved choir director at the Trinity United Church of Christ….the same church that has issued a $10 million line of credit on the new home of their retired Reverend Jeremiah Wright.

Many condolences to Young’s family and loved ones. This is truly a sad story.
I hope that this senseless killing will be uncovered. I know that Barack Obama is implicated in the murder, is this being investigated? Please, if anyone has any information, please speak up. There is something horribly wrong with this story.

The black community must not turn a blind eye to this just because obama is running for president, the black community MUST be the ones to put this out there front and center. DO what your conscience commands, the Lord is watching!

My deepest sympathy to the family of the departed but uplifted Donald Young. For that is what this article is for. This should not be turned into a forum for people that want to uphold or beat down the credibility of Barack Obama or Larry Sinclair. Only God, the person(s) involved, and Donald Young himself know what happen. But knowing God as I do family just believe that whatever happen to your love one will eventually be told. Even if you don’t witness the justice yourself…just believe that my God has the last say so in every situation. Stay prayed up, blessed beyond measure and filled with the Holy Spirit. May the Comforter continue to put His loving arms around you.
Gods Got It. One year into the murder investigation and no one has any information leading to the arrest of person(s) involved in the hit made on Mr Donald Young. I believe the CPD will continue to march and I pray that Mr Youngs family continue to be strong.
