GRAMMY AWARD WINNER SMOKIE NORFUL RETURNS FOR MCDONALD’S INSPRIRATION CELEBRATION GOSPEL TOUR 2008
To celebrate the rich tradition of African-American music that uplifts and inspires, McDonald’s kicks off its Inspiration Celebration Gospel Tour in February.
The tour will serve up a series of unprecedented, free gospel concerts to churches, bringing a powerful and inspirational message to eight cities during Black History Month.
The McDonald’s Inspiration Celebration Gospel 2008 concerts will feature Grammy Award winning recording artist Smokie Norful, headlining for the second year in a row. Joining Smokie Norful is fellow EMI Gospel recording artist Myron Butler & Levi.
The tour reaches Enon Tabernacle Baptist Church in Philadelphia on February 7th; Greater Grace Baptist Church in Detroit on February 8th; Christ Universal Temple in Chicago on February 9th; Friendship West Baptist in Dallas on February 14th; Windsor Village United Methodist in Houston on February 15th; New Birth Church in Atlanta on February 27th; Christian Faith Center in Creedmoor, NC on February 28th, and Ebenezer AME in Fort Washington, MD on February 29th. The tour will also feature local gospel artists.
