BARACK OBAMA TELLS CHRISTIANITY TODAY ABOUT HIS FAITH: Presidential candidate reaches out to evangelicals.

In his 3rd interview with Christianity Today magazine, democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama talked about several issues that he believes his stances would be viewed favorable by evangelicals.

Barack Obama said that evangelicals have come to believe that democrats are anti-faith and that part of his job in the campaign is to make sure he is showing up and reaching out to share his faith experiences.

Barack Obama said that he is a devout Christian and believes in the redemptive death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. He states that his faith gives him a path to be cleansed of sin and to have eternal life.

He goes on to say that he believes in the example that Jesus set by feeding the hungry, healing the sick and always prioritizing the least of these over the powerful.

On abortion Barack Obama said he doesn’t know anyone who is for abortion and that he feels it is important to start with a premise that has a goal that makes abortion less common.

Barack Obama said in the interview in Christianity Today Magazine, which was founded in 1956 by Billy Graham, that we should discourage unwanted pregnancies and encourage adoption wherever possible. He also feels that we should prohibit late-term abortions, as long as there is an exception for the mother’s health.

Barack Obama is not only an intelligent and reasonable man who achieved himself everything that he has, he also believes in God. He seems to be an ideal president.
