With the market ever-changing and a more sophisticated consumer, Light Records is strategically reshaping itself by building a talented team with an enthusiastic vision for the future of Gospel music. The addition of employees with an eye for innovation and an entrepreneurial spirit strengthens Light Records expertise as a record label and expands its reach into full service brand management.

Kia Jarmon comes to Light Records from her own public relations agency, Miss Ellaneous Public Relations, where she directed publicity and media campaigns and gained an array of skills including conference planning, multi-cultural marketing, and brand and event management. With a passion for Gospel music paired with her experience, Kia Jarmon will tap into the diverse interest of the Gospel consumer.

In her new role, Ms. Jarmon will oversee all aspects of publicity activities for artists and projects on Light Records. Her duties will include the design and implementation of publicity campaigns at local and national levels, utilization of new technologies to broaden the scope and impact of media campaigns, as well as maintaining the label’s extensive contacts with major print and broadcast media.
