(Washington, D.C.) - May 28, 2008 - Professor Wilbur Belton & LADWEC’s song "Come Bless His Name ", one of the hottest choir songs to hit radio in recent memory, catapulted the church ensemble to instant popularity. Produced by GRAMMY , Dove and Stellar Award winner Steven Ford , the debut project introduced the dynamic choir to the gospel music scene. The song was also the force behind the group’s 2007 EnSound Award , a 2007 Washington Area Music Award Nomination for Best Mass Choir, a 2005 Gospel Award for Best Traditional Choir, and The Community Choir Award.
