I wantto know where is the actual show is held at?

  2. Hi, my name is Hakeem Florence. I am 15 years old and I love to sing gospel music. Before I sing every sunday, I always pray that I could be an inspiration to someone.. My pastor told me that if I dont let people influence me that God would take me to high places one day.. YOU WILL BE SEEING ME SOON!! GOD BLESS!

  3. Marrigus Ingram says:

I will like to know when the next auditions for the show will be held? The reason I want to be on the show so I can be an inspiration to every being that listens to God’s Music.

  5. lakeisha key says:

Hello I have been blessed by so many people on the show. I sing in groups and at simple shows. But never in front of a big audience. God has reviled my gift and I’m ready to bless someone with the sounds of God’s praise and worship. I would like to know when the dates and location be shown for season 4?

  6. TJHeaven says:

Did I just hear Tina just clown the girl with the red hair! Isn’t that the same color she had her hair before too! As if all those tight jeans are appropriate? Is she trying to be Simon?

  7. Dee says:

Don’t do this. you know it’s not God’s will for you to compete or be judged on singing HIS praise. The perversion of the church must stop.

  8. sandra says:

I was very displeased with some of the judges comments concerning some of the singers. this show is getting very secular…..what does style have to do with God….

  9. Rakhym says:

Hi Sunday best I love to sing and I was not totally planning on being a gospel singer, I want to be a R&B singer, but don’t get me wrong I love god and I like gospel I just wish that I could get discovered. I am 14 years old and me and my mother have it rough. I would love to be better financially. I know one thing, and it is that god gave me my talent for a reason, we won’t be like this always. I put my trust in god to make things come together. I will be a singer.

  10. I feel sometimes you all are rude and thoughtless uncompassionate inconsiderate downright un christian and make mockery of people you all are a bunch of gossiping downputting people. dont you know you all are on national T.V. and you will have to give account for all those critical downputting words. Not you Donnie I give you your props for showing the world what christians are suppose to act, talk, and behave like. I dont care if you say you are kidding or it makes the show. May god show you the same kindness and mercy you have shown those contestants. we are not to pattern after the world.

  11. I enjoy looking at the show, however I do think the girls are a little harsh. They need to remember it is a gospel based show and be more incouraging. And to Ms Kim Barrel please sit down somewhere, I must say Hot Mess.

  12. bless and highly favored says:

I’m very displeased with Tina’s comments, judge lest ye be judge! The female that had on socks with flipflops Tina made a comment about how she looked, but her singing was powerful but the female that came in looking like a Sunday school teacher they gave her praises. Is this a show of what you look like or how you can sing!!!! Please Tina stop acting like the WORLD does and look at yourself.

  13. I PRAY THAT THE JUDGES WOULD STOP ACTING LIKE THE JUDGES ON AMERICAN IDOL THERE SHOULD BE A DIFFERENCE WE ARE TO ENCOURAGE NOT DISCOURAGE OUR CHRISTIAN BROTHERS AND SISTER BUT I NOT SURPRISED AT THE WAY TINA ACTS HER TRUE COLORS ARE COMING OUT PRAY FOR HER

  14. Pawasa says:

It is a talent to be a critic; because we are focused driven to voice our own opinion on an given matter which is free will based, however we tend to over-ride others. We the people have mulititudes of critics, it is the voice that we listen to that makes the difference. In a multitude of counsel there is saftey, who is speaking matters, guidance and concern is one thing but ridicule and making front of is another. Culture, and style of people is by experience, up bring and education. We have a choice as to who is the best critic for our lives. My comment is talk is cheap, but conversation and communication is valuable, every word is like a nugget of choice gold or silver.

  15. mym says:

I love singing gospel music, from a kid going to church with my grandma, I performed in church, and God’s given me a talent, now I want to use it as a tool to minister God’s word to my friends, family and to the world.
I live in the carribbean and I hope and pray a show like this could be here, zI feel within my heart it would help fight the crime and violence on my little Island. God Bless

I feel like you guys are a bit harsh you want the BEST & there’s no such thing as PERFACT! I was very upset when you sent home alot of the people who messed up jus i LITTLE so what! nobody perfect! Hell HALF OF THEM SOUND BETTER THAN YOU JUDGES!

  18. carita J. says:

I must say that I have been blessed by the singers on Sunday Best. I thank God that someone like Elder Goldwire McClendon can be seen nationally and showcase what being in touch with The Master really looks like. In another time – there were many people like him to emulate – but I praise God that at this time – He has preserved Elder Goldwire to Glorify Him and teach all of us – young and old – how Christians ought to look and act. It has encouraged my faith – to think that there is a “remnant” still left! Thank you all for the respect that you have show Him.

I have also been very impressed by the host – Kirk Franklin. He is articulate, humble, humorous, kind, connecting, and remarkably able to encourage each artist in a way that helps them handle the critiques that must come.

I realize that the show has been patterned after “American Idol” – but allow God to be the supreme pattern and have other shows copy you – you are that blessed! Be selective in what you choose to take from any show – again you are that blessed! You have an opportunity to influence these artists in positive ways – teach them how to preserve their voices through healthy plant-based diets, appropriate hydration, exercise, proper rest, etc.

Judges – I have appreciated how you have been touched by the spirit of God, evident in the music and ministry of many of the artists, and have taken the time in the show to worship God. Never let that spirit go! You also have a high standard for the artists to reach – based on the high standards that you have reached in your gospel careers – never let that go. You will not please everyone -so try to please God first and last!

About the attire of the artists – I think that there is nothing wrong with an elegant look – it is always in good taste and style and many of the artists have presented this elegant look. In this area – less is more – so maybe there could be less of a look of a regular performer and more of a look of someone who is “in ministry” with Christ – but yet still look contemporary. We don’t want to see someone who looks strange and disconnected to the style of the day -but we do want to see people who look like they are connected to Christ. Now how does a christian look? There are probably many opinions about this but the Bible teaches balance and elegant simplicity (modesty). I realize that an effort is made to connect with the youth who probably would not relate positively to someone who dressed in an odd manner – and I applaud that – but again – let’s lead the youth to a higher standard and not allow the media in any of its forms, to dictate how a Christian should look! Let’s be radical – and opt for simplicity but class and “be in the world but not of the world” as we look for a better world.

    God bless you!
