Broadway star and power-house vocalist Heather Headley of the hit single “In My Mind” from her second RCA Records is set to release her debut Gospel album.
The talented singer grew up in the church and believes this CD, “Audience of One,” on EMI Gospel, gives her a chance to give God His praise for what He has done in her life.
The Grammy Award nominee and Tony Award winning performer, who appeared on Broadway (The Lion King, Aida), teams up with Stellar Award winner Smokie Norful on the first single “Jesus is Love,” a cover version of the classic 1980 tune by Lionel Ritchie and the Commodores.
Heather Headley, a Trinidad native, will have her Gospel CD shipped to stores in January, 2009.
