Lisa McClendon Queen Of Gospel Soul: Hits The UK in April with new album

GL Media, the company behind the UK’s premier Gospel music magazine: Gospel Link, is pleased to announce the next installment of GL Live will be headlined by the Queen of Gospel Soul; Lisa McClendon.

GL Live is an innovation in Urban Gospel events, previously presented Holy Hip Hop legends Da T.R.U.T.H. and Lecrae plus King of Gospel RnB J.R. on the UK stage. The response has been phenomenal every time, with 3 hugely successful sell-out tours. This time the exceptionally gifted, multiple Stellar and Dove award nominated Lisa McClendon will be blessing the mic.

Yet again, the concert events will be an international link-up, also presenting both established and upcoming home-grown talent, including Ryan Carty, Victizzle, Michaela, Karl Nova and Mighty. Furthermore, the shows will feature a live band, special guest appearances, free give-aways, superstar DJs, plus hosted by the ever-entertaining Simply Andy and Malikha.

Lisa McClendon’s extensive body of work has attained rave reviews and critical acclaim. She is a widely celebrated artist throughout the U.S. and has an immense global fan-base. Her unique musical style, fuses classic Jazz and Soul with contemporary sounds, causing her to be compared with artists such as Lauryn Hill, Jill Scott and India Arie.

With 3 albums under her belt, Lisa McClendon’s name has become synonymous with inspiring music and cutting edge, penetrating lyrics, and she now returns with the latest installation of her musical legacy, Reality.
