Allyn Johnson, the multi-talented producer and composer from Washington, D.C., is set to release his debut CD called Allyn Johnson & Divine Order.

Best known for his work as a jazz pianist, Johnson has played with a long list of artists including Buck Hill, Andrew White, Christian McBride and Stanley Turrentine.

Allyn Johnson’s love of Jazz shines through in his rendition of the classic “Jesus Loves Me,” and the entire disc is an expression of his skills as a pianist, songwriter and arranger.

When Allyn Johnson isn’t performing, he serves as Director of Jazz Studies and associate professor at the University of the District of Columbia.
