SECOND SEASON FOR ‘SOULAUGHABLE’ UNDERWAY: Family friendly comedy show set in Savannah, GA.
“Soulaughable,” the family friendly comedy showcase on the Word Network, is ready for its second season to be hosted by actor Flex Alexander.
Flex Alexander is best known for his role as the father of a teenaged daughter on the comedy series “One on One,” and the movie “Snakes On a Plane.”
Alexander, who’s married to singer Shanice Wilson, is also is an executive producer of the project.
The second installment of “Soulaughable” will feature a rotating lineup of today’s hottest family friendly comedians who have a lot to say about the world we live in without slipping into the vulgarities normally associated with the genre.
The lineup includes Mike Washington, Willie Brown, Sean Sarvis, Small Fire, Meshelle, Cleto Rodriguez, and Ms. V among others. Filming for the new season will take place the weekend of August 14 -15, 2009 at the Savannah College of Art and Design’s Trustees Theatre located at 216 E. Broughton St. in Savannah, Georgia.
A fan favorite during its first season on the Word Network, the “Solaughable” series earned one of the highest call volumes in the history of the network.
The program was created by Vicki Mack Lataillade and her husband Claude Lataillade – founders of Gospocentric – the successful gospel music label with its well-known stable of award winning artists (Kirk Franklin, Byron Gage, Tramaine Hawkins and Dave Hollister).
