LightFM: Seventh Day Adventist Christian Internet Radio Station

Light Fm is a Christian radio station broadcasting on FM and streaming on the internet. It is owned and operated by the Communications department of the South England Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, under the direction of Pastor Richard De Lisser, with operational management by Mike Johnson.

The daily schedule includes Gospel and Contemporary Christian music, radio dramas, current affairs, profiles of the church, its mission and ministries, children’s programmes, dedications and requests, plus real-life stories of men and women whose lives have been transformed.

Station Director, Mike Johnson said; “Our name is an expression of our purpose. We recognise that there are people in our towns and cities who are going through situations which to them represent dark days; we want to bring some light into their lives; to show them an alternative and better way. Jesus said He’s “the light of the world” and that’s the light we will be presenting. Our name also indicates our approach to programming, in that they are fair and balanced and presented in a way that is easy on the ear.”
