Daughter Of Famed First Female Bishop Vashti McKenzie To Wed With An Star-Studded Wedding
The wedding of Amos Phenix Saint-Jean, and Vashti- Jasmine Murphy McKenzie, the second born daughter of famed Episcopal Supervisor Stan McKenzie and the first Female Bishop of the African Methodist Episcopal Church, Vashti McKenzie, will take place August 7, 2010 .
The 500 person invited guests list will include some of today’s most noted celebrities. Confirmed list include, Debra Lee, President/CEO of BET, John Stoddart, Yolanda Adams, Donnie McClurkin and Omarosa Stallworth.
The private ceremony will be officiated by Pastor Jamal Bryant, Senior Pastor of Empowerment Temple in Baltimore, Maryland.
Jasmine and Amos met several years ago at Empowerment Temple and immediately developed a long-term friendship before their courtship. McKenzie, received her B.A in (Administration of Justice) from Howard University, and later earned a (Masters of Divinity) from Garrett-Theological Seminary. Amos, an Independent Recording Artist, Entrepreneur, Writer and Producer, has worked full –time in the music industry for 16 years. He is the current Minister of Music for Breath of Life Seventh Day Adventist Church and the Music Director at Evangel Cathedral. Amos is also the CEO of Famous Amos Music, LLC, an Independent Record Label, and owner of Famous Amos Music Recording Studios.
The couple will plan to honeymoon in Paris, France after the wedding.
