Tyscot Records’ Artist Joe Pace Impacts the Gospel Industry Again With New Project “Praise”
Tyscot Records’ new signee, Joe Pace, is excited and gearing up for his LIVE CD and DVD release, “Praise for the Sanctuary” on October 19th.
“I’m really excited about this new project! After over 3 years since my last project, I am indeed humbled and honored to continue the line of church worship projects I believe God has called me to produce,”said Joe Pace.
The Grammy, Stellar and Dove Award nominated songwriter/producer has worked with innumerable artists including Daryl Coley, Rance Allen, and the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir. Joe Pace is best known for his stellar work as CEO/Director of the Colorado Mass Choir.
A prolific songwriter, Joe Pace has penned numerous Top 10 hits and Sunday morning staples including, “Watch God Move,” the popular worship anthem “We Worship You”, “Shake The Foundation”, “Speak Life”, the radio mega-hit, “Glad about It“, “Hallelujah Anyhow”, “High and Lifted Up” and “Mighty Long Way”, just to name a few. His songs have been sung by the likes of Fred Hammond, Tina Campbell (from Mary Mary), LaShun Pace, Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir, Clint Brown, and more.
Now on Tyscot Records, Joe Pace’s new project, “Praise for the Sanctuary” features songs, praising God for His love, power, and greatness. Joining him on the new project are just a few of gospel’s up-and-coming powerhouses. Isaac Caree (Men of Standard) is featured on the worship anthem, “Fill this Place” and 2008 Sunday Best Winner Crystal Aiken on “Just Like He said He Would”.
The current radio single “And We Are Glad” has caught the ear of radio programmers and listeners across the country. Airplay for the single is building due to its straightforward and catchy proclamation of God being great and holy.
“And We Are Glad” will undeniably be added to Joe Pace’s list of stellar songs that have impacted the country. Joe Pace seems to have a gift for writing music that strikes a chord with choirs, praise teams and congregations across the board. According to Pace, the new release Praise for the Sanctuary is geared towards the Sunday Worship Experience and everyday challenges.
“Joe Pace Presents… Praise For The Sanctuary, is a project that is geared towards the Sunday Worship Experience, with songs that have been written for the various areas of the worship service, that are teachable and within reach for the choir, praise team, congregation, as well as the general listener. The new single, “And We Are Glad” is probably the best example of this type of song. Based on Psalms 126:3, it is one of those songs that, I pray, is powerful in its’ simplicity, infectious in its’ chorus and hook, and easily translatable to any worship experience. It’s one of those songs that hopefully sticks with you throughout the day as you’re going through the day’s challenges. You remember that in spite of it all, God has been good… God has done great things, “And You’ll Be Glad!”- said Pace.
According to Tyscot President, Dr. Leonard Scott, Joe Pace’s ability to craft songs that can be easily incorporate into any worship service is one of the factors that led the label to sign him.
“I am excited about Joe Pace joining us at Tyscot. [He] ads to the roster of artists the sound of the contemporary Sunday morning church choir,” said Dr. Leonard Scott, President of Tyscot Records, “We have worked together before when he was at Integrity, and I am impressed with, among other things, his song writing and ability to bring out the very best in a choir.”
Praise for the Sanctuary Live CD and DVD will be available in stores and online on October 19, 2010.
