International Pentecostal Young People’s Union Takes Over Detroit!

The International Pentecostal Young People’s Union (IPYPU) will host it’s 4th annual Empowerment Conference in Detroit, MI – March 31stApril 2nd at Greater Grace Temple, 23500 W. Seven Mile Road, Detroit, MI (Presiding Bishop Charles H. Ellis, III).

For three days, delegates will raise their hands in praise to God thanking him for another year of blessings, while enjoying the sights and sounds of Detroit.

Throughout the weekend-long power packed conference, delegates and visitors will attend training workshops, inspirational worship services, children and youth activities, praise and worship seminars, evangelism and missions motivation, community outreach, Sunday School instruction, and Gospel concerts with nationally-known speakers, recording artists, psalmists, musicians and choirs.

During the 3-day event, guest speakers Eld. Gregory Murray, Evang. E. Lorraine Langham, Bishop George Dawson, Suff. Bishop Barrington Smith, and many more will set the atmosphere for worship.

On Friday, April 1st, the IPYPU will host it’s annual After Hours Concert, featuring Mali Music, Tony Frost, Tammi Haddon, Tim Slaughter, The Ambassador, Melinda Watts, the I.P.Y.P.U. Sacred Arts Department and more! This is event is free to the public.

On Saturday, April 2nd at 7:00 p.m., P.A.W. Presiding Bishop Charles H. Ellis, III will present a life changing illustrated sermon.

Eld. Christopher D. Collier serves as the President of the International Pentecostal Young People’s Union and is committed to providing excellence in every area, activity, and program detail included in this Empowerment Conference. “I believe that we have a responsibility to minister to the whole person and that is accomplished by addressing the entire family through topics and services that minister to the spiritual, physical and social needs of our people.” Collier said. “For me personally, this event will be a historical experience. Just over 15 years ago, Our Presiding Bishop, Charles H. Ellis, III was the IPYPU President. To have this conference at his church is a tremendous honor.
